In late 2017, Blackjack hired us to update the messaging strategy we’d developed for them in 2010. That strategy was built on the company’s commitment to integrity in everything they do. Which led to their original brandline: The Right Way. Naturally.
Seven years later, Blackjack’s commitment to integrity was every bit as strong — but in our research, the competitive advantages their clients mentioned most often were: 1) The level of passion, consistency and expertise they bring to their work, and their relationships. 2) The uniquely high percentage of Blackjack staffers who are degreed professionals. 3) The superior quality of consultive support they offer the landscaping professionals and property owners they serve.
We presented them a single brandline, which was approved immediately. Unfortunately, they just couldn’t see going with the new logo we developed — which we absolutely love. Not to worry, we’re still friends!
